Boston Police Seeking Public’s Help in Efforts to Identify Suspect Wanted in Connection to an Assault & Battery in Brighton Leaving the Victim with Life Threatening Injuries

At about 2:00am, on Friday, May 23, 2014, officers from District D-14 (Brighton) responded to a call to assist a person who had been assaulted in the area of 354 Chestnut Hill Ave in Brighton.  On arrival, officers located an unconscious male, believed to be in his early twenties, in the rear of the above-mentioned location. The victim, suffering head trauma, was transported to Beth Israel Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information or may have been in the area at the time of the assault is asked to call the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
