Commissioner Evans shares a playful moment with Luis

IN THE NEWS: Thanks to the Boston Globe for their coverage of today's Cops for Kids with Cancer charity check presentation. Today, the chairman for Cops for Kids with Cancer, former Boston Police Superintendent-in-Chief Robert Faherty, presented a $5,000 check to the family of 6 year-old Luis Armani Sustache. Luis was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma in November and - with today's check presentation - became the 300th child to be presented with such a gift. Since its inception in 2008, Cops for Kids with Cancer has given more than $1.5 million to families in need.
