At about 1:50 AM on Sunday, June 22, 2014, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for two people shot in the area of School and Arcadia Streets.
Upon arrival, officers observed two 24-year-old male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where one of the victims was pronounced deceased. The second victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, the incident does not appear to be random.
