Boston Police Arrest Suspect in Connection to Sexual Assault in South Boston

 

At about 1:12 AM on Sunday, June 22, 2014, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) spoke to a victim who reported that she had been sexually assaulted earlier in the evening in South Boston. According to the victim, she flagged down what she believed to be a taxi cab in the area of 270 Northern Avenue in South Boston. Later investigation showed the vehicle to be a livery vehicle. After entering the motor vehicle, the victim states that the suspect drove the victim to a secluded location where the sexual assault took place. The victim further states that she was robbed of several items during the assault including her iPhone and several credit cards. The aforementioned stolen credit cards were then used to make several unauthorized transactions.

After an extensive investigation by detectives assigned to the Boston Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit, detectives tracked down the suspect wanted in connection to this assault to an address in Quincy.

Officers arrested Said Said, 40, of Quincy and charged him with Aggravated Rape, Unarmed Robbery and Receiving Stolen Property.
