Operation Hoodsie Cup Kicks Off the Summer Season

If the success of Operation Hoodsie Cup is to be measured in smiles, then it’s safe to say the Summer of 2014 is off to a tremendously successful start. Today, (Wednesday, June 25, 2014) Officer Kenny Grubbs, the Youth Service Officer assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury), visited several area schools including the MLK School on Warren Ave in Dorchester and the reviews- as you can well imagine - were hugely positive. Said Officer Grubbs, “I can’t begin to tell you how much I love driving this ice cream truck. The kids are so excited and happy to see us when we pull up in the truck and it's so much fun to - not only hand out the Hoodsie Cups - but to also let the kids know how much we care about them. Today was about connecting with the kids and nothing does that better than Operation Hoodsie Cup.”
