BPD Requests Public’s Assistance in Identifying Larceny Suspect

At about 6:15 PM on Sunday, July 13, 2014, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a robbery in progress in the area of 666 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain (Smoke Shop Variety).

Officers were advised that an unknown patron walked behind the counter while the store employee was busy, stole an undisclosed amount of US currency from the register, and fled on a blue bicycle. The suspect was described as follows:

 

  • White male
  • Approx. 5’11”, 180 lbs.
  • Blue hat w/ small white logo
  • Blue/light blue collared shirt
  • Beige pants
  • Black and white sneakers w/ white stripe on the bottom
  • Clean shaven
