UPDATE: REVISED CITY OF BOSTON TRAFFIC ADVISORY for the July 3rd Celebration

The following traffic advisory for Boston roadways is in effect for tomorrow: Thursday, July 3, 2014. As always, individuals intending to enjoy and experience the July 3rd festivities are strongly encouraged to utilize public transportation. For more information about MBTA service, please visitwww.MBTA.com.

The following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic starting tomorrow, Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 6:00pm until completion of the fireworks:

• Berkeley Street from Beacon Street to Back Street
• Clarendon Street from Back Street to Beacon Street
• Back Street from Dartmouth Street to Mugar Way (Resident Access will remain from Dartmouth Street)
• Beacon Street from Arlington Street to Massachusetts Avenue
• Berkeley Street from Commonwealth Avenue to Back Street
• Dartmouth Street from Comm Ave to Back Street
• Fairfield Street from Commonwealth Avenue to Back Street
• Hereford Street from Comm Ave to Back Street
• Mass Ave from Comm Ave to the City of Cambridge

TOW ZONE/NO STOPPING parking restrictions will be in effect Thursday, July 3, 2014:

• Arlington Street, both sides from Beacon Street to Comm Ave
• Berkeley Street, both sides from Marlborough Street to Back Street
• Clarendon Street, both sides from Marlborough St to Back St
• Dartmouth Street, both side, from Marlborough St to Back St
• Exeter Street, both sides from Marlborough Street to Back Street
• Beacon Street, both sides from Charles Street to Dartmouth Street
• Back Street, both sides from Dartmouth St to David G. Mugar Way
• Chestnut Street, both sides from David G. Mugar Way to Brimmer Street
• Mount Vernon Street, both sides from David G Mugar Way to Brimmer Street
• Pinckney Street, both sides from David G. Mugar Way to Brimmer Street
• Revere Street, both sides from David G. Mugar Way to Charles Street

*** PLEASE NOTE: When the State Police closes Storrow Drive, sections of local City of Boston streets that lead to Storrow Drive will also close.
