Over 350 Guns Have Been Voluntarily Turned In Thanks to the Boston Gun Buyback Program

Your Piece for Peace: Since the start of the program on March 24, 2014, 355 guns have been voluntarily turned in by community members taking advantage of the Boston Gun Buyback Program. To those who've embraced the opportunity to make our community a safer place - we say: "Thank you." A crime gun is defined as an illegal firearm used in the commission of a crime or confiscated in the course of an arrest. And to the men and women of the Boston Police Department who work hard each and every day to keep our city safe, we say, “Thank you for all that you do.”
