In August of 2013, Boston police officers responded to the area of 800 Border Street in District A-7 (East Boston) for reports of a found body. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased victim who was identified as 32-year-old Sherry Bradley of Lynn. Bradley’s death was later ruled a homicide by the Office of the Medical Examiner in April of 2014.
An extensive investigation by BPD homicide detectives in conjunction with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office led detectives to seek a warrant for Bradley’s boyfriend, 42-year-old Chhoeut Chin of Lynn. The detectives were granted the warrant on Thursday, August 14, 2014, and today, Friday, August 15, 2014, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit were able to locate and arrest Chin in Lowell. Chin will be arraigned on a later date in East Boston District Court for the charge of Murder.
