Daily Dose of Great Police Work: Officers Arrest Two for Armed Robbery in Dorchester

 

At about 9:38 AM on Friday, September 12, 2014, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 11 Whitten Street in Dorchester.

On arrival, officers observed the female victim suffering from apparent stab wounds was sitting on the curb in the area of the above location who stated that she had been robbed of her handbag. Officers attempted to obtain further details about the incident but due to a language barrier, were unable to ascertain what had occurred. At this time, the victim was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. Upon further investigation, officers were able to gather a description of the suspects as well as the vehicle in which they had been travelling. A vehicle matching that of the suspect’s was seen in the area of Talbot Ave. and Harvard Street. The individuals occupying the vehicle also matched the description of the suspects. Both suspects were placed under arrest. All of the victim’s property was discovered within the vehicle.

Officers arrested 24-year-old Tabitha Alfordcinelli of Dorchester and 32-year-old Rachon Landrum of Dorchester. Both are charged with Armed Robbery and Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon.
