United Way’s Read Day Enables Members of the BPD to Share a Few Good Books & Make Some New Friends at Some Local Schools:

Job well done to Boston Police Deputy Superintendent Nora Baston (seen in the enclosed photo) and other members of the Boston Police Department who recently participated in the United Way’s Read Day. Members of the department spent the day reading to preschoolers at the following locations: Boys & Girls Club in Dorchester, Ellis Memorial, Children Services of Roxbury and the Jeffries Point Child Care Center. Job well done to all who participated.
