Great Time Had by All at Last Night’s Flashlight Walk!!!

Thanks to all who turned out for last night’s Flashlight Walk at the Thomas Atkins Community Center at 215 Blue Hill Ave. The walk was extremely well attended and all who participated had a great time walking the neighborhood while getting to know the officers entrusted with protecting and serving their community. All who attended were treated to hot dogs and ice cream. Gotta love that!!! Among the many in attendance included Deputy Nora Baston, Sgt. Samil Silta, Officer Kenny Grubbs along with Wallace Tillford & Carolyn Macneil from Neighborhood Watch and special thanks to the Area 324 Neighborhood Watch Group for their participation. In addition to having a whole lot of fun, last night was also about recognizing and thanking Officer Kenny Grubbs for his on-going dedication and devotion to the District B-2 community. Lastly, it should be noted that all who attended last night’s Flashlight Walk received a complimentary flashlight. If you’re interested in participating in a future Flashlight Walk, please call (617) 343-4345 or email: meetinginfo.bpd@cityofboston.gov.
