Boston Police Seeks Public's Help in Efforts to Identify Suspect Wanted in Connection to Mission Hill Assault

At about 4:21 AM on Thursday, September 4, 2014, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person screaming in the area of 572 Huntington Avenue in the Mission Hill area.

On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that she had been walking home from work when an unknown black male came up from behind her and began to choker her. The suspect then dragged the victim down the alleyway next to 578 Huntington Ave.  The suspect fled the area on foot when a Security Officer from the residence hall approached both him and the victim. The suspect is described as a black male approximately 18-25 years old, 6’0” tall, medium build, wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray sweatpants with his boxers showing. Officers searched the scene upon arrival, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District B-2 (Roxbury) detectives at 617-343-4270.
