Daily Dose Of Great Police Work: Officers Arrest ‘Unfriendly Host’ and Five Other Suspects for Unarmed Robbery and Assault in Dorchester

 

At about 11:10 PM on January 8, 2015, officers from District B-3 ( Mattapan) received a radio call for an unarmed robbery in the area of 1 Aspinwall Road, Dorchester.

On arrival, officers observed a 25-year-old male victim being treated by EMS for non-life-threatening injuries to his upper body. The officers were informed that the victim was at his friend's house with a group of six individuals, when without provocation or warning, he was dragged to the rear of the house by his friend and the other males. The victim was then punched, kicked, and choked. The victim was robbed of his ‘Lebron James’ sneakers, iPhone 6, a large amount of US currency, and a Nike wallet containing personal papers. After a search of the 3rd floor apartment, officers were able to locate all six suspects inside of the location and recover the stolen items.  

Officers arrested 29-year-old Randolph Birden of Mattapan, 40-year-old Darold LLoyd of Dorchester, 23-year-old Daquan Spriggs of Roxbury, 22-year-old Dana L. Flemom-Lewis of Mattapan, 21-year-old Shakeele Scott of Boston, and a 17-year-old male juvenile from Dorchester.  All suspects were charged with Unarmed Robbery and Assault and Battery.
