Building Relationships: Boston's Finest Stops by Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy

Building Relationships: Officers assigned to the Boston Police School Unit were recently seen at the Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy talking to the kids about an array of issues including stranger danger, bullying, decision making and setting high goals. In addition to the above, the kids also got a chance to talk to and meet officers assigned to the BPD K-9 Unit and the Crime Scene Response Unit. Said one of the officers: “This is one of the best parts of the job. The kids love to see us and we certainly love to see the kids. Days like today give us the opportunity to say to them that if they’re ever in trouble or need of help, they can always count us to be there.”
