Boston Police Seek Public’s Help in Efforts to Locate Suspect Wanted in Connection to Non-Fatal Shooting Incident in area of 15 Ruggles Street in June of 2014 - The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s help in efforts to locate Diriye Bile, 19, of Boston who is wanted for his role in a non-fatal shooting incident in June of 2014. At about 6:04pm, on Sunday, June 29, 2014, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 15 Ruggles Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering from non-life threatening injuries, was transported to the Boston Medical Center for further treatment of his injuries. During the follow-up investigation, Diriye Bile was determined by investigators to be the shooter of the victim. As such, an arrest warrant has been issued in Bile’s name charging him with the following: Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault & Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Firearm), Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Discharge of a Firearm w/in 500 Feet of a Dwelling.
Bile is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him or has any information relative to his whereabouts is asked to call District B-2 (Roxbury) immediately and directly at (617) 343-4275.
