Community Alert: Boston Police Seeking Public’s Help in Efforts to Identify Individual Wanted for Indecent Assault in area of Jamaica Pond

 

Community Alert:  Boston Police Seeking Public’s Help in Efforts to Identify Individual Wanted for Indecent Assault in area of Jamaica Pond - At about 9:30am, on Monday, January 19, 2015, a female victim called police to report that, while running in the vicinity of the Jamaica Pond boathouse, an individual riding a bicycle approached her from behind and slapped her in the buttock region. Victim states she screamed and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.  The victim describes the suspect as either a black or hispanic male in his early twenties, 6’0” in height, medium build, wearing a white ball cap with red trim (possibly a Chicago Bulls cap), a dark sweatshirt, dark pants and white sneakers. 

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Sexual Unit at (617) 343-4400.
