Making a Difference: BPD Deputy Superintendent John Brown Mentors Students at the Renaissance School in Boston

Making A Difference: Dr. Martin Luther King once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: what are you doing for others?” As it relates to making a difference in the lives of our city's young people, Boston Police Deputy Superintendent John Brown can say with certainty that he does quite a bit and his efforts can be seen in the photo included above. In fact, Deputy Brown hosts regular mentoring meetings with youth from the Young Kings Mentoring Program at the Renaissance School in Boston. Said Brown, “I really enjoy mentoring the young men in this program. The youth inspire me in my role and humble me with their rich enthusiasm for learning.”
