At about 8:55 PM on Monday, January 26, 2015, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person down in the area of 8 Shetland Street in Roxbury.
Upon arrival in the area, officers observed a male victim, lying in the street suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was transported by Boston EMS to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased a short time after arrival. The victim has since been identified as 28-year-old Charles Floyd of Dorchester.
