Community Alert: Boston Police Investigate Indecent Assault in Back Bay

On Sunday morning, January 4, 2015 at approximately 10:00 AM in the area of West Newton Street and Huntington Avenue, a woman was approached from behind by a male and indecently assaulted.  The suspect then fled the area on foot towards the South West Corridor. The suspect (seen in the photo) is described as a black, non-hispanic male with bulging eyes, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, 6’0" tall, medium build, wearing a grey hoodie-type sweatshirt, dark pants, black backpack.
     
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives assigned to the Sexual Assault Unit at 617-343-4400.
