Community Alert: BPD Seeking Public’s Assistance in Identifying Person of Interest in Robbery Incidents in the Area of Ditson and Leroy Streets, Dorchester

Between 10:00 PM and 10:20 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2015, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to four separate reports of armed robberies in the areas of Ditson and Leroy Streets and 33 Ridgewood Street, Dorchester.

In each of the incidents, victims reported they were approached by a black male, approximately 5’10”-6’02” with braids in his hair, wearing a red shirt and khaki pants. The suspect demanded money and stated he would stab the victims if they did not comply.

Detectives are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents, and they are seeking to identify the person of interest shown in the above video in relation to these incidents. This person is NOT wanted at this time. Detectives are also investigating similarities between the person of interest pictured above and the person of interest involved in a sexual assault on the same date in Dorchester.
