At about 3:20 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2015, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) along with MBTA Transit Police Officers responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 245 Centre Street near the Jackson Square MBTA Station.
Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at approximately 4:30 AM on Friday, October 23, 2015. The victim was later identified as a 17-year-old juvenile from Hyde Park.
At about 2:00 AM on Friday, October 23, 2015, Boston and Transit officers were able to identify and arrest a 16-year-old juvenile from Dorchester in connection with the incident. The juvenile suspect will be arraigned today in Roxbury District Court.
