Lynn Fugitive Apprehended by Boston Police Fugitive Unit

 

On Thursday, October 22, 2015, members of the BPD Fugitive Unit received information from the Lynn, MA Police Department that a person wanted in connection with a shooting in their town may be in the Boston area. At about 7:45 AM on Friday, October 23, 2015, the officers observed the suspect in the area of Bowdoin and Corona Streets in District C-11 (Dorchester). Officers were able to apprehend the fugitive, 30-year-old Steven A. Wilson of Dorchester, without incident on an active arrest warrant out of Lynn District Court for Assault with Intent to Murder, Discharging a Firearm within 500 Ft. of a Dwelling, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Firearm Violation with One Prior Violent/Drug Crime. Lynn authorities were notified and Wilson was transported back to Lynn to face his charges.

On this same evening, the BPD Fugitive Unit also took into custody 22-year-old Daniel Pena of Georgia for his role in several homicides, shootings, and assaults. Pena was the last of nine total members of a dangerous Georgia gang to be taken into custody.
