Officers spoke with one business employee who reported an individual fitting the suspect’s description entered the store and attempted to sell him an iPhone. A few moments later, officers were able to locate the suspect on Waumbeck Street.

Officers spoke with the suspect who stated he had found the cellphone and was going to sell it. Officers arrested a 15-year-old juvenile male from Roxbury and charged him with Armed Robbery.

Plainclothes officers in the area heard the description over the police radio and realized that two males fitting that clothing description and stature had run past the officers moments before the 911 call. Believing these were the suspects of the armed robbery, officers canvassed the area for the two males and were able to locate them in the area of 68 Pleasant Street. Upon pat frisking the suspects, a replica firearm was recovered from one of the suspects, and a white face mask was found concealed in each of the suspects’ clothing.

Officers arrested 18-year-old Andronique M. Dossantos of Dorchester for Armed Robbery and Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon. Dossantos was also found to have an active warrant for his arrest. Officers also arrested 19-year-old Kostya Ragin of Needham for Armed Robbery, Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, and Assault and Battery for putting his hands in the victim’s pockets during the robbery. Both will be arraigned at Dorchester District Court.
