MEDIA AVAILABILTY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: BPD Officers and PAL Treat Kids to Celtics Game

WHO:            Boston Police Superintendent-in-Chief William Gross, Boston Police Officers from District B-2 (Roxbury), Boston Police Activities/Athletics League (PAL), Damone Clark, and Divan Silva

WHAT:          With help from PAL, Boston Police Officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) are excited to treat a pair of very special young people, Damone Clark and Divan Silva, to a Boston Celtics game at the TD Garden. 

BPD Community Service Officers will accompany to the game 16-year-old Damone Clark, who remains an avid Celtics and basketball fan despite his grave cancer diagnosis, and 7-year-old Divan Silva, who was struck by a stray bullet as he rode his bike in Dorchester last spring. The group will depart from the B-2 Neighborhood Station at about 6:00 PM tonight.
