Drug Control Units Execute Four Search Warrants, Arrest Four, Recover Two Firearms, Large Amount of Drugs and Cash in Unrelated Incidents

INCIDENT #1

INCIDENT #1:  At about 11:45 AM on Tuesday November 24, 2015, officers assigned to the District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) Drug Control Unit executed a search warrant as part of a two month long investigation into the selling of illegal drugs in the area of 19 Wardman Road in Roxbury.  As a result of their efforts, officers placed the target of their investigation Antony Haskins, 53, of Roxbury in custody without incident while recovering nearly $16,000 in U.S. Currency and 16 grams of heroinThe suspect has been arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Drugs.

INCIDENT #2

INCIDENT #2:  At about 12:15 PM on Tuesday November 24, 2015, officers assigned to the District B-3 (Mattapan) Drug Control Unit with the assistance of the Youth Violence Strike Force made an arrest in the area of Hemenway Park in Dorchester as part of an active and ongoing investigation.  Officers were able to locate and apprehend the target of their investigation, Charles Moulaison, 23, of Dorchester, who was wanted on outstanding warrants for drug distribution after a brief foot pursuit.  Officers then executed a search warrant relative to the arrest in the area of 214 Harvard Street which resulted in the recovery of a loaded Glock Model 17 9mm handgun as well as class B drugs and cash.  The suspect has been arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs (2nd and Subsequent).

INCIDENT #3

INCIDENT #3:  At about 2:43 PM on Tuesday November 24, 2015, officers assigned to the City Wide Drug Control Unit assisted by the Suffolk Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation in the area of 20 Floyd Street in Dorchester.  Officers had already arrested the target of their investigation, Geraldo Lerouge, 24, of Hyde Park, moments earlier on Blue Hill Avenue at Callendar Street after a traffic stop for driving without a license.  Officers then executed the search warrant on Floyd Street where they recovered a loaded RG14 .22 caliber revolver in addition to a large quantity of marijuana packaged for sale.  The suspect has been arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (2nd and Subsequent), Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D Drugs, Armed Career Criminal and Operating a Motor Vehicle After Revocation or Suspension.

INCIDENT #4

INCIDENT #4:  Early this afternoon, Wednesday November 25, 2015, officers assigned to the District C-6 (South Boston) Drug Control Unit executed a search warrant as part of an active and ongoing investigation in the area of 114 Hamilton Street in Dorchester.  As a result of their efforts, officers placed Ricardo Cardoza-Nieves, 25, of Dorchester who was also wanted on two outstanding warrants for drug distribution in custody without incident while recovering 32 grams of heroin, 15 grams of cocaine and cash.  The suspect will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of Trafficking Class A Drugs and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs.
