Over 100 Community Members Turn Out for Tonight’s Peace Walk in the South End

Over 100 Community Members Turn Out for Tonight’s Peace Walk in the South End: Neither rain nor cold temperatures could put a damper on tonight’s Peace Walk in the South End. In fact, over 100 community members, many with umbrellas in hand, joined Mayor Walsh and Commissioner Evans on tonight’s walk on District D-4 in the South End. Peace Walks were created to bring community members together in an effort to promote peace and harmony in our fine city. Said Mayor Walsh, “It’s so great to see so many people – especially so many young people - come out in support of peace on a night like tonight. The rain couldn’t keep you away and that says a lot about you and your love of our city. Events like tonight make our city the special city it is and I commend everyone here for coming out in support of peace.”
