It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year - BPD Partners with U.S. Secret Service to Make a Difference in the Lives of Families in Boston this Holiday Season

For over 25 years, the Boston Police Department has partnered with the United States Secret Service to spread Christmas cheer throughout the City of Boston with their annual 'Toys For Kids' program. This year, officers collected over 5,000 toys which were then brought to our own makeshift North Pole in the office of Boston Police Commissioner William Evans. The gifts were then sorted and distributed to families in need who had been previously identified by officers in each of our 11 Community Service Offices. "We are all about making a difference," said Commissioner Evans, "And this Christmas, thanks to generous donations from so many people and the efforts of my officers, we've been able to make a difference in the lives of families who needed a little extra help this Holiday Season."
