Making A Difference: Ridge Charitable Trust Donates $25,000 to Boston PAL

Yesterday, Wednesday, December 2, 2015, Boston Police Deputy Superintendent William Ridge and his cousin Gerald Ridge, Jr. joined Police Commissioner Evans and Superintendent Paul Fitzgeral to present a donation to the Boston Police Activities/Athletics League (PAL).

Mr. Ridge’s father, Gerald, Sr., recently passed away after sitting as a chairman of PAL for many years. In his memory, the Ridge family hosted a golf tournament through the Ridge Charitable Trust and raised money for PAL. That money was presented to PAL yesterday in the amount of $25,000.00 to be used for Boston PAL youth programs. PAL board member Chip Batchelder humbly accepted the generous donation on behalf of the PAL organization. On behalf of PAL and the children that participate in its programs, we extend a heartfelt thank you!
