FIRST NIGHT PARKING & TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Leave the Car at Home & Take the MBTA

FIRST NIGHT PARKING ADVISORY: On Thursday, December 31, 2015, the City of Boston will ring in the New Year with its annual First Night Celebration. As in years past, thousands of people are expected to participate in the city’s FirstNight festivies and fun. To accommodate the event, street closures and parking bans will be in effect at various locations. Those coming into Boston are asked to leave their cars at home and take the MBTA.

TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURES for Thursday 12/31/2015 WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
Boylston Street from Exeter Street to Tremont Street, 5 to 8PM
Charles Street from Park Plaza to Beacon Street, 5 to 8PM
Dartmouth St from St. James Ave to Boylston St, 6AM to 2AM
Atlantic Ave from Milk St to Cross St, 11:30 PM to 12:30AM

TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTIONS (Tow Zone/No Stopping) for Thursday 12/31/2015 and Friday 1/1/2016 WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
Trinity Place:
Copley Fairmont side from Saint James Avenue to Stuart Street
Both sides from Stuart Street to the Clarendon Street Parking garage
Boylston Street:
Copley Square side from Dartmouth Street to Clarendon Street
