Death Investigation in the area of 571 Dudley Street: At about 3:45pm, on Saturday, March 14, 2015, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to an outside scene for a person shot in the area of 571 Dudley Street. On arrival, officers located a male victim, believed to be in his late thirties, suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Preliminary information indicates that the shooting may have been precipitated by a confrontation related to road rage. Investigators are seeking any information relative to a dark-colored SUV seen fleeing the area.
