Justice Served: Suspect Arrested in Connection to 2012 Homicide Found Guilty of Murder

 

Justice Served: Today, Thursday, March 19, 2015, a Suffolk County Jury found Maurice Jones, 22, of Boston guilty of first degree Murder in the shooting death of Dinorris Alston, 30, of Boston. Almost three years ago, on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person shot in the area 3 Dunreath Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located a 30 year-old male, later identified as Dinorris Alston, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wounds. Alston was pronounced deceased at the scene. After a complete and thorough review of the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident, Boston Police Homicide detectives were able to identify a suspect wanted in connection to this incident. On June 26, 2012, detectives arrested Maurice Jones of Boston. Today, Jones was found guilty of Murder.
