Metro Lacrosse Team Thanks the BPD for Taking Time to Talk to their Squad: On Tuesday, March 3, 2015, Charles Moore presented an appreciation plaque to Chief William Gross to say thank you to the BPD for supporting and recently hosting the kids involved in the Metro Lacrosse program. The kids spent the day, not only talking to Chief Gross, but also visiting and learning about several other units within the BPD including the K-9 Unit, Bomb Unit, Police Academy and SWAT. Said Charles Moore, “This was a great chance for the kids in our program to learn about the Boston Police and all the great work they do. The kids asked a ton of questions, learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed meeting the men and women who protect and serve our city every day.” To learn more about the Metro Lacrosse Program – please click on the enclosed link: metrolacrosse.com.
