Making a Difference: Boston Police Officer Coaches East Boston High School to City League Hockey Championship

Making a Difference: Congratulations to Boston Police Officer Bobby Anthony and his team - the East Boston High School Boys Varsity Hockey team – for their big win in this year’s Boston City League Championship Game. Anthony, who’s assigned to District A-7 in East Boston, is in his 14th year as the head coach of the Jets program and he says this year’s team is one he couldn’t be more proud of. Said Coach Anthony: “I can’t say enough good things about the kids on this year’s team. They stuck together, worked hard and played together as a team. In the City League Championship game, to beat a talented team like Latin Academy, they had to take their game and level of play to another level and they did beating Latin Academy 4 - 3 in overtime. The kids have a lot to be proud of and I’m certainly proud of them.”
