In recognition of the 2015 National Youth Violence Prevention Week, the Boston Police Department is partnering with the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department, the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office, the United States District Attorney’s Office, Boston’s Center for Youth and Families, and Boston Public Schools to host anti-violence poster (grades K-5), poetry (grades 6-8), and hip-hop video (high school students) contests with the theme of Youth Standing Strong Against Violence.
The deadline for entry has been extended to March 13. Winners will be announced and receive their prizes at the Second Annual Peace Rally on March 26, 2015! Prizes include Red Sox tickets, Target gift cards, and more!!
