Daily Dose of Great Police Work: BPD and Joint Task Force Investigation Pays Off, Officers Recover Large Quantity of Drugs and Money

At about 12:50 PM on Friday, March 6, 2015, members of the District E-18 Drug Control Unit, with the assistance of the Braintree Police DCU and members of a task force from Weymouth Police Department, Randolph PD, Quincy PD, and Franklin PD, executed a search warrant in the area of 254 Austin Street in Hyde Park. The warrant had been obtained through the joint effort of the above jurisdictions after three months of surveillance on three target suspects.

As a result of the warrant, officers recovered the following:

  • Over 1200 grams of heroin
  • Approximately 36 grams of crack cocaine
  • Approximately 148 grams of powder cocaine
  • Over $75,000 in United States currency

Officers also recovered over $2,100 in US currency and powder cocaine in excess of 270 grams from the suspect’s vehicle.

Officers arrested the three targets of the investigation, 36-year-old Jose Villegas of Roslindale, 22-year-old Aderlin Tejada-Objio of Hyde Park, and 22-year-old Jordi Isaac-Dejesus of Dorchester, and charged them with Trafficking Class A (Over 200 Grams) and Trafficking Class B (Over 100 Grams). Also arrested for Trafficking Class A and Class B was 42-year-old Lucy Feliz of Mattapan. Fifty-four-year-old Sixto Ruiz of Hyde Park was arrested and charged with Possession of Class B.
