The BPD Joins the Safe Kids Worldwide 2015 Heatstroke Awareness Campaign

The Boston Police Department is teaming up with Safe Kids Worldwide in an effort to spread awareness of the dangers of heat stroke.  Every 10 days, a child dies as a result of tragically being left alone in a hot vehicle. Tragedies like these are most certainly avoidable.  Spring is finally here which means summer's just around the corner. With warmer months come warmer temps and the increased threat of heatstroke related tragedies. So, let's smarten up and be aware of the dangers and the steps to take to keep our kids safe from heatstroke.  To learn more about the Heatstroke Awareness campaign - click on the enclosed link: http://www.safekids.org/preventing-heatstroke
