At about 8:20 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 50 Richfield Street in Dorchester.
Upon arrival, officers observed a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, but later succumbed to those injuries. The deceased victim was subsequently identified as 33-year-old Jeromie Johnson of Dorchester.
