Be it the Big Leagues or Little League, There’s Nothing like Opening Day Baseball!!!

Be it the Big Leagues or Little League - There’s Nothing like Opening Day Baseball: Today, Saturday, May 2, 2015, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans stopped by Peters Park in the South End to throw out the ceremonial first pitch of the the season for the South End Baseball League. To nobody’s surprise, our ever-athletic Police Commissioner threw a perfect strike. Prior to the throwing of the pitch, Commissioner Evans addressed the kids, saying: “Congratulations on the start of your season. This game is all about having fun. So, have fun, play hard and respect your coaches, your teammates and the teams you play against. Have a great season and enjoy every inning.”
