Community Alert: BPD Seek Public's Help in Efforts to Identify Suspect Wanted in Connection to Indecent Assault in Allston

 

At about 1:00 AM, on Saturday, May 2, 2015, two females reported that they were groped inappropriately while walking along Gardner Street in Allston. The female victims were walking with two other friends when they were approached from behind by a male suspect who simultaneously groped their buttocks.  The suspect then quickly fled between nearby houses in the direction of Ashford Street.

Both victims described the suspect as follows:

  • White, non-Hispanic male
  • Approximately 6’0" - 6'2" tall
  • Dark hooded sweatshirt, jeans, boot style shoes

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.  Anyone with information is asked to call Sexual Assault Unit detectives at 617-343-4400. The preliminary investigation suggests that this incident is isolated in nature.
