BPD Recruit Class 54-14 Graduation Ceremony

On Wednesday, June 17, 2015, Recruit Class 54-14 graduated from the Boston Police Academy.  The large ceremony which was held at the 103 IBEW Post in Dorchester was attended by friends and families of the new officers as well as Mayor Martin J. Walsh, Commissioner William B. Evans, several chiefs from surrounding towns and members of the BPD Command Staff. Forty one of the new officers will be assigned to various districts throughout the City of Boston while the remaining twenty three officers are from outside agencies.  (Belmont, Canton, Dedham, Edgartown, Natick, Plymouth, Randolph, Sherborn, Stoughton, Tewksbury, Walpole, Westwood, Woburn.)  The Boston Police Department would like to congratulate all of the officers as they begin their careers in law enforcement and remind them to always be safe out there.
