BPD in the Community: Partnering with Local Association and Boston College to Beautify Brighton

Officers assigned to District D-14 (Brighton) Community Service Office have partnered with the Radnor Road Neighborhood Association (RRNA) and Boston College to maintain and beautify of that area of the Brighton neighborhood.  As part of the ongoing endeavor, two new planters and rose bushes were recently installed. Funding assistance was provided from the Allston/Brighton, Boston College Community Fund to the RRNA. Caring neighbors like the Sevegna family, RRNA President Bruce Kline, and Boston College Director of Community Affairs Bill Mills promoted this caper.

Captain Wayne Lanchester of District D-14 stated, "We intend to keep this great neighborhood strong and vibrant by doing the little things with our partners that are necessary to eliminate crime and disorder."
