A DAY TO REMEMBER

WHO:             MA Governor Charles Baker, Boston Mayor Martin Walsh, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans and Command Staff, Boston Police Gaelic Column, Boston Police Honor Guard, and Boston Police Mobile Operations Patrol.

WHAT:           Police Memorial Sunday is a day set aside by statute for the purpose of honoring deceased members of the Boston Police Department. President of the Boston Police Relief Association Joseph E. Sullivan and Boston Police Commissioner William B. Evans extend a cordial invitation to all members of the police department—past and present—and their families to attend the ceremony on this occasion to honor the memory of all deceased members of the BPD.

The service will include an invocation by Rabbi Korff, remarks by the Governor, Mayor, and Police Commissioner, as well as the reading of the roll. A 21-gun salute will be presented by MOP with selections by the Boston Police Gaelic Column. The service will conclude with a benediction from Reverend Gary Adams.
