One Less Gun: BPD Officers Recover Three Guns, Arrest Four at Trespassing Call in Mattapan

At about 1:45 AM on Saturday July 11, 2015, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a call for four suspicious males lingering on the caller’s property on Woolson Street.  As officers arrived, they observed the group of men and then saw three of them run behind the house.  Officers gave chase, stopping the three men and recovering three loaded firearms which they had quickly discarded.  The three guns were later identified as a Colt Lawman MK III .357 Magnum Revolver, a F.I.E. Titan .25 Caliber Semi-Automatic Pistol and a Smith & Wesson Air Weight .38 Caliber Revolver.  All three suspects were placed in custody without incident.

The suspects, identified as Darnell Pierre 24, of Mattapan, Errol Resse, 24, of Mattapan and Brett Callahan, 24, of Dorchester, will appear in Dorchester District Court on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Trespassing.  The fourth suspect, identified as Andrew Marshal, 35, of Dorchester, was also arrested without incident and will appear in Dorchester District Court on a Trespassing charge.
