Media Availabilty: Commissioner Evans Taking Part in the” Flag for Hope” Project at the Boston Marathon Finish Line

WHAT:           Media Avail/Photo Op: Flag for Hope, led by globally acclaimed artist Marcos Antonio, is proud to announce Boston, Massachusetts as the next location on their national tour. This event invites participants from all walks of life to embrace and solidify their place in the historical record by contributing their handprints to collaborative 'panels of impression,' and be preserved as an historic account of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The effort began on Memorial Day 2015. Flag for Hope will visit approximately 60 cities before September 11, 2015, ending at The Freedom Tower in New York City. When the canvas is complete, 5000 handprints will have been collected. Today, Commissioner Evans will add his handprints to the Flag for Hope.                           www.FlagforHope.com
