Working Together: Commissioner Evans and Local Clergy Meet to Discuss Summer Public Safety Plans

Working Together: Today, Thursday, July 2, 2015, Commissioner Evans, Chief Gross and Dan Mulhern from the Mayor’s Office proactively met with local clergy members at Boston Police Headquarters earlier today to discuss strategies and plans to keep our city’s young people safe this summer. Among the issues discussed included summer jobs and opportunities designed to keep kids occupied and out of trouble. Said Commissioner Evans: “People often ask me what makes our city so special and I always tell them it’s the relationships and partnerships that make our city so unique. In Boston, public safety is a team approach and we’re fortunate to have so many dedicated clergy members working with us to make Boston the safest city it can be.”
