Keeping Boston Safe: Officers Recover Drugs and Money from Residence in Dorchester

At about 6:00 AM on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, after an extensive investigation, members of the District C-6 (South Boston) Drug Control Unit executed a search warrant in the area of Savin Hill in Dorchester.

Officers made entry into the residence and located the target of the warrant, a 39-year-old male of Dorchester. Also in the residence was a 39-year-old female. Officers searched the apartment and recovered (among various drug paraphernalia) over $23,000 in US currency, approximately 35.1 grams of cocaine, and approximately 10.6 grams of heroin.

Officers arrested the 39-year-old male and charged him with Trafficking Class B Drugs (Cocaine), Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Drugs (Heroin), and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws (2nd and Subsequent Offense). The 39-year-old female was also placed under arrest for Trafficking Class B Drugs (Cocaine), Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Drugs (Heroin), and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws.
