Keeping Boston Safe: Drug Investigation Enables BPD Officers to Seize a Gun and Drugs in Dorchester: Today, Thursday, July 30, 2015, members of the District B-3 (Mattapan) Neighborhood Drug Control Unit were conducting a drug investigation when officers conducted a stop of a motor vehicle containing two individuals believed to have been involved in a drug transaction. A query of the vehicle revealed that the registration was revoked. After stopping the car in the area of 217 Columbia Road, officers arrested both occupants. A search of the car enabled officers to recover a .22 caliber long rifle pistol (see photo) loaded with 10 rounds of ammunition and 22 small plastic bags containing a Class B Drug believed to be Crack Cocaine.

Officers arrested Bryan Bajandas, 20, of Boston and Yeison Roa, 20, of Boston and charged both with the Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Loaded Firearm and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (Crack).
