Justice Served: BPD Fugitive Unit Tracks Down Suspect Wanted in 2003 Homicide

This afternoon, July 9, 2015, the Boston Police Fugitive Unit along with U.S. Marshals arrested Carlos Silva, 32, of Boston for his involvement in a 2003 shooting that resulted in a homicide.  

The shooting incident occurred on April 28, 2003 at the intersection of Albany and East Berkley Streets at about 2:30 a.m. Two victims were injured, one fatally and the second victim was paralyzed as a result of a gunshot wound.  The second victim died as a result of pneumonia in 2007.

Silva will be charged with 2 Counts of Murder and Accessory After the Fact.  He will be arraigned tomorrow in Suffolk Superior Court.
