Boston PAL Awards Scholarships to Young Students

On Thursday, August 6, 2015, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans awarded twelve young high school students each with a $1,000 scholarship from the Boston Police Activities/Athletics League. In the coming fall, these students will be attending colleges such as Framingham State, University of New Hampshire, Colby-Sawyer College, and Bunker Hill Community College, among others. The Commissioner gave the kids his signature words of advice as PAL Director Billy Stoddard presented the checks:

“Stay off the X-Box and stay in the books!”
